Wednesday 18thMarch,
Hello girls…and boys!
Although the boys seem to be missing!
Yes, I know! It was frustrating not to be able to hear our partners from Serbia. It seems
that they could hear us but as we couldn’t hear them, they had to type back!
It was interesting, though to know something
about their customs and routines. I bet you didn’t know that they have shifts
for school! I mean, one month they go to school in the morning and the next
month they go in the evening and then, they swap (change) again! And when they have morning shift they start at 7.30! Currently (at
present) they are on strike, same as in Spain.
But… strike,
for them means to have only three hours of class. For us, means not to have
school.
Although you looked shy at first, it was great
to listen to you asking questions!
I hope you enjoyed despite the sound problems.
After that, we had a short break and later, we did a revision of the things we’ve learnt this term. We revised grammar, vocabulary, listening and also, speaking.
Noelia isn’t coming to class next week because she’s going on a
school trip to Barcelona. Enjoy your trip! See you when you come
back after Easter! Enjoy your holidays, too!
And for the rest of the class, remember that
next week we are having the awards for the games and a ‘Flea Market’. Bring
things to sell!
What I’m not sure about is
whether (=if) you will be able to carry out (execute) your project. It consisted of outdoor games but it
depends on the weather (= climate) and also on
how many of you are coming as we haven’t seen some classmates for over two
weeks!
