How Old is your Body?

Hi! How’s everybody?

I hope you are OK.
Almudena, Noelia, how did you get on with the Trinity test this morning? I’m sure it was great! Anyway, let me know on Wednesday.

What did we do last Wednesday?
We went on talking about lifestyles and diet.
We read an article entitled ‘How old is your body?’

Did you know that our body age and our calendar age may not be the same? In fact, our body age can be much younger or much older than our calendar age (even eighteen years different!). We can calculate our body age by answering questions about the way we live.
First we read the answers of Tariq, a record producer, to the questionnaire.
These are some of his answers:
·         He doesn’t do enough exercise.
·         He eats a lot of fresh food but he eats too much meat.
·         He is too busy. There aren’t enough hours in the day!
·         He doesn’t have much free time but he has a few close friends who he tries to see regularly.
Then, we did the quiz to find out our body ages. Your body ages are even younger than your calendar ages! You’re ‘on the ‘minus’ side.’


These were some of the questions you had to answer.
 
·         How much do you walk a day?
·         How much sport or exercise do you do a week?
·         How much fast food (processed and pre-prepared) do you eat?
·         How many portions of fruit and vegetables do you eat a day?
·         How much water do you drink?
·         What’s your worst diet habit?
·         Are you too stressed?
·         Are you positive enough?
Can you answer his three questions about you?
What's your lifestyle?
What do you like?
What inspires you?
After that, we learnt some vocabulary about sports.

then, we had our ‘Flipped class.’ Noelia and Carmen did a wonderful job trying to teach and control the kids from the other class! You deserve some extra points!
